Having entered at #7 in September, Wandoujia, a third-party Android app store rose two more spots in our October Top China Android app store ranking. Wandoujia was China’s most famous Android app store in 2013 but fell behind Tencent/Baidu/Qihoo after 2014. However, it still has a large user base, great user experience and great technical innovation. In September, Wandoujia released its new tool named “Yilan”, which aims to help users to do app preview and find interesting contents. In Yilan, the user could preview all installed apps in their phones to find the updates, and also add new apps to find if anything interested. After this new tool released, Wandoujia has successfully increased its traffic and achieve better cooperation with app publisher and developers.
